The Shoshit Samadhan Academy about which I had mentioned in my newsletter dated August 02, 2018 was formally inaugurated on 31st August, 2018. Presently, there are 9 students who passed-out from SSK and are studying in Central University of South Bihar, Gaya and the Central University of Haryana, Gurgaon. Those at Gurgaon are doing B. Tech engineering courses in the university. As the number of alumni of SSK will increase exponentially in the years ahead, financing students in resident universities will not be available financial model in the long run. Unfortunately, the local colleges in Patna are below par and not a suitable option. The academy shall prepare the students to complete the 3-years graduation course from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNU). Simultaneously, the alumni shall be coached to take various competitive exams for jobs in the government and on the public sector. The Magnus IAS Academy located in Patna shall conduct the coaching classes over a period of three years to enable the student to complete and find suitable placement in the government or the public sector making maximum use of reservations for the schedule caste. Each student was given a Tablet-PC at the inaugural function to facilitate distance learning. A photograph of the function which includes the faculty of the Magnus IAS Academy is placed above.
